'71 Plymouth Hemi 'cuda convertible

Don't know if I have posted this one before its a Revell street burner 71 Plymouth Hemi cuda convertible,been looking around on the web to get idea's for colours but most are boring stock colours looking for some thing to jump out at you but have not found any thing,photo of the box lid,looking for a colour that eye poping.

I reckon they look good in red or yellow - bright colours for a wild car? Here's a few pics...

Ya but they are stock colours thinking more on a candy colour for it.

How about transparent Candy Red over Yellow, or Candy Green over Gold for custom colours?

now you are talking Tezza43 thinking a long the line of black base with reflex violet pearl powder in clear coat.

They do look OK in red,will look at some reds.

Hey Allen, a candy purple would look good. Why not look at some nail polish colours? There's some pretty awesome stand-out colours there. Cheers, Gary.

Gary,have thought about nail enamel got a metallic purple in satin could put it on a black or purple base,still thinking on this idea.

My little holding compressor has died today but have another larger one just found a rattle can of paint tonight is VIVID YELLOW got to pick up a rattle can of white primer,got a friend that may get the little compressor going again,I am surprize that its lasted this long.

my little compressor is working look's like it got to hot and shut its self down untill it cooled down its must be a safe thing built in it. very happy it did not die on me,going to get it checked out as it takes a bit of time building up air in the tank

this is the colour that I will be doing.but will be putting white strips on instead of black.

got some white primer for this one today in a rattle can,still thinking on the colour for this one have some vivid yellow and picked up a rattle can of LOBELIA INDIGO which is a metallic purple.

the yellow won out here it is.

Quick decision, yellow looks good.

ya it was used the other colour on a mini that I am building too.

waiting for fine weather to do some painting

got some flat white paint on the dash,seats,doorpanels and floor pan,going to paint the rest tomorrow as its a bit 2 hot outside now don't want to over heat the little comperosser again.
