53 Ford car transporter

Q: What do you get when you combine the following?
A 53 Ford F100
A diecast firetruck
and the amt "Racers Wedge"
A: The beginnings of this race car transporter.
So far I have opened up the wheel arches on the cab and lowered the steps slightly, plus changed the wheel arches on the wedge from the twin axle set up.

Top idea and very nice conversion work. This is one-of-a-kind and should look outstanding when finished. So what's happening to the rest of the fire truck?
