Cavalier XY GT Falcon
Finally got this one finshed, had major setback last weekend when I went to put the side stripes on, they just fell apart in my hands what the hell am I going to do since they are a pretty big part of a GT and I wanted to give it to my mate for Christmas. Put the call out to Chris who was more than happy to help, thanks mate you are a champion, they arrived today and they are just awesome, absolutely spot on and easy to apply.
I asked my mate if I could go a bit nuts in the engine bay and he said do what you want, as long as it has a shaker, so I found the biggest thing I could, a 429 Shotgun , ooh yeah, bloody tight fit but it's in.
Oh yeah, bonnet stripes are masked and painted, even the thin ones.

Re: Cavalier XY GT Falcon
That came up a treat, Kirk!
Glad to help with the decals, if I'd have known it was a 429 I could've put 429 in the stripes for ya! Guess it's sleeper style with 351 on there (if a GT could be classed as a sleeper!) Nice work, have a top Xmas!

Re: Cavalier XY GT Falcon
Well done dude. Looks better with stripes.
Magic shine as always.
Seems a shame to give this one away.

Re: Cavalier XY GT Falcon
Thanks for the comments guys.
Shoey, I didn't give it away, he paid for for it and told me pretty much what he wanted. It's only a dirty old Ford anyway

Re: Cavalier XY GT Falcon
You know I love it already, but no harm saying it again
I saw a 1:1 almost exactly like this the other day, only it was running centerlines.
