40 Ford Coupe
Hi all, heres my latest build, the old amt 40 Ford Coupe. Really happy with this one, started out as a glue bomb I got off ebay. After I stripped it I had an old can of Sienna Red which I used just to see how it would look. Looked so good I just had to see the project through.
I did have to buy another kit just so that I had all the parts to complete the build (I have plans for all the spares I now have). The headlights, tail lights, a bumper and radiator didn't come with the original glue bomb. The rims and tyres are from The Parts Box and the hub caps and trim rings were from my spares.
Cheers.

Re: 40 Ford Coupe
Nice save on one of my favourite kits.
Sure the revellogram one is more detailed and probably more accurate to scale, but the AMT kit is a simple easy to build item that offers so many options and possibilities.
It's also very nostalgic for some of us who started building them in the 1960s.
This build looks up there with the best I've seen.
