1948 Ford F1, my way
Everybody who builds one says what a great kit the Revellogram '48 Pickemup truck is to build and I have six or seven of them, so I figure now might be the right time to build one.
As has been my wont lately this will be a mild Kustom, no chop, just a few simple body mods, noice paint, cool wheels, tyres and a little surprise under the hood.
So far I think I've figured out why all you glue sniffers like this thing, it's a neat kit that seems to go together well and isn't at all difficult to modify.
So here's where I'm at.
Since I prefer springs to air bags and a more realistic stance, I'm gunna be going for this ride height, rather than the tail dragging first image.
Choosing a colour has had me scratching my head for a couple of days.

Nice one Carps. I've always liked the old F100. Your ideas sound good to me.

That would be giving the game away, suffice to say this will be a mild Kustom Pickemup that you may want to think twice about 'choosing' at the lights, lest you end upcdansie wrote:So...............................what 6 cyl are you going to be using?

Sounds like fun, where's the pics?
I've decided n the colour, gold base, with the same pearl mica red that's on my daily, sealed with a clearcoat including just a touch of red flake.
