Here is the 1/24 scale series 3 Land rover 109 from Italeri. The bonnet was removed and hinged to make way for a Holden six.
the tail gate was also hinged. It was a great kit to build, I'm not used to making stuff out of boxes!!! lol

You can just see my next project sittin under the house, a bashed up HT Holden Kingswood.
the boat and trailer were scratch built from evergreen plastic card. and the house was built from balsa.

Sensational stuff Shoey! Your scratchbuilding and modelling skills are "top of the range" in my opinion. That Holden six looks pretty good inside the Rover. Italeri make a mean kit don't they?

Great build as usual shoey. You say you removed the bonnet to fit the Holden six, is the kit a curbside?

Thanks Frank, yep she sure is a curbside. It only has bottom half of engine, if you cut the bonnet off clean enough you shouldn't need much filler. it also has posable steering.

Absolutely brilliant diorama. Hey Paul, you took the words right out of my mouth, that house looks just like the place lived in at Garbutt when I was in the RAAF, even down to the colour.

I bought mine about two months ago from our local hobby shop, They only just arrived. I forgot to mention that they have left or right hand dash, I also modified the front wheel arches, they were a bit too round for me!!
