69 camaro pro tourer

been working on this for a couple of weeks now.this is the first kit ive decided to put a descent amount of detail into

i went into frontline to buy some evergreen sheet and i found they had a few kits on sale
so instead of getting the sheet and some primer i also come out with
a 69 baldwin motion camaro,tamiya 911 gt3, hasegawa evo 6 rally car and the new revell 2010 zr1 corvette
now i have a wheeless gt3,motorless corvette and an evo without a drivers seat
but on the other hand this is what i will have very soon












i scratchbuilt the rollcage and 4 link,painted the wheel centres semigloos black,made the harness from strapping coloured using a red posca pen with a piece of plastic sprue bag stuck to the other side,then with a lot of cursing and throwing threaded the photo etch buckles onto the tape.4 hrs and too very sore eyes later i had one seat done. the passenger will have to make do with standard belt cause be stuffed if i was gonna do another one lol

im jus gonna paint it matt black and bmf the trim and see how it looks

For what it's worth the seat with the harness looks brilliant and ultra realistic so I say the frustration was worth it

yeah im happy with how it turned out, i was going to put both seats in but would rather save it for the pro touring cuda im going to build after this

Nice build...will be interesting to see it finished. I also enjoyed your confession...a sheet of Evergreen turns into multiple models. How many times have I done that? By the way...did you get the evergreen???

Looks great so far, thats the best use you could have made of those other 3 kits though.
