'96 Cobra Mustang
Heres what I have been working on lately.
No seriously, I have been able to piece together this Mustang when taking a break from reading the above books. 1 more practical assessment (22nd June) and I am done for a while (couple of years). Then I can start doing a bit more serious modelling and learning how to use that lathe I bought.
Out of the box build with hinged bonnet and will have wired engine. Other than that no changes to be done. Didn't even bother lowering this one, factory stock. Painted Tamiya Light Grey Met with Panzer Buff (Oh No, military colour) and semi gloss black interior.
Nothing overly flash about this build, just another one to keep the skills up.

Re: '96 Cobra Mustang
Don't think I've yet seen a convertible one of these models. Love the colour, and who cares about using military colours? We're all modellers after all and use whatever is necessary to get the job done. Civil aircraft modellers learned a lot from us car guys about gloss finishes didn't they!

Re: '96 Cobra Mustang
Looks good Dave, but I reckon it would look a lot better lowered.
great colour too, and perfect fit with the hinged bonnet.
