american muster ute
well this one was a wing and a prayer project i was just slapping bits together i was inspired by some of the custom ute mags ive been reading and thought id have a go at making something sorta along the same lines only thing i had to play with though was cab from the USA-1 kit so i started cutting and filling and yeah only took me 2 days to build this up shes candy lime green with some lame flake thrown in for some extra flare the tyres are from the 49 merc (front) and a f1 kit (rears) the tray is some chequer stuff that shoey pointed me in the direction of the fuel tank is scratch built the battery cells are from a 64 chev kit ( which is on the bench at the moment almost finished) the nos tanks are from some diecast thing i sacrificed a while back and the motor is from a cobra 427 and the blower is from a lego car i got from the rocky show many years ago so i would consider this to be a " bitsa ute" haha i was guna put a bullbar on it but the front bumper is out to far and it looks like a buck toothed bulldog and the bug flecktor ill be putting something on i was thinking of something from craig ferguson and the late late show "in your pants" or " BALLZ" i dunno still processing it, the exhaust stacks are aluminum mounted on thick sprew which still has to be painted ive just realised, oh oh just had another idea for the flecktor "touch my glittery ball" if i can get that fit its made lol

Re: american muster ute
It sure is unusual, but it looks great and is nicely finished. I have to agree with Mopar about those exhaust stacks - not enough backpressure i think!

Re: american muster ute
lol i did have a bull bar for it but unfortunately it looks a bit stoopid mounted so far forward i even put a heap of spotties on it especially for this build and didnt end up using it so the next project to be finished is the IH scout 2 im guna use it on that instead

Re: american muster ute
Oh yeah that's sick, nice work man
I like everything about it except the stacks. Your build looks realistic and to me the stacks don't. Just my What if you drilled some holes half way in and made some caps for on top of each stack. You could have them half open?
