Chain Reaction

i'm building the ute from this movie, using a 1/24 scale hq monaro i bought off ebay.

first up - Does anyone recognise this sticker he has on the back. it's a silver Chev logo with Trick Pick-up written in the centre. i'm wondering if anyone knows the small text above and below the text?



Anyway, the build.
This is the car. it's a HQ one tonner with a stepside tray, driven by Steve Bisley (aka Goose in Mad Max)


This is being build from a HQ resin body and a Chevelle chassis. the interior and tray are from a Ford Courier (which is unfortunately 1/25 scale). The body was cut in half and i replicated the rear of the cabin with styrene.




I painted it black and build the rest of the major parts. and then painted the three colour stripes (PITA)




here's where i'm up to, just needs a few things to finish it off. i'm currently drawing the artwork for the decals.

Looking good there mate. Haven't seen this movie in a while. I'll see if i can dig it out soon and check the logo for you (if it's clearer).
