Junk yard Sprinter.
I brought a box of Grant King sprinter parts , basicly body parts for two cars so I scatch built a chassis added front torsion bar supension as per early CAE, then added a big Offy from a indy roadster, ended up with something a bit different.
Starting point
early fit up
Ready to go
The other one is getting a 302 six Chevy with a Fisher 12 port head.

Re: Junk yard Sprinter.
Very nice - love the old sprint cars. Reminds me of Traceys Speedway in Maribyrnong (Melbourne) many moons ago. As a kid my dad took me along to watch the dirt racers getting into it - great memories.
A beautiful build and some neat scratchbuilding mate - good on you!

Nice build...
@Tezza...I used to live just down from that Speedway for about 12 years when it was a sporting oval. Once a year they would have a day when all the old speedway cars would show up for a display. That was so good.
