That's a magnificent custom car, and you're taking on a huge challenge here Bryce, but knowing you it won't be long before the plastic body starts taking shape. Looking forward to seeing more work-in-progress shots.

Re: "1941 Buouth/Plymick Sled"
The first cut is the hardest...but too late to turn back now!
Still need to plug all the holes and fill in the rear windows, but I think it looks better already
I think I may also need to take a pie section out of the rear trunk and/or extend the rear fenders to get rid of that humpiness - we'll see...

Re: "1941 Buouth/Plymick Sled"
No way I'm going to make the deadline for this GAS, but this one IS still on the bench and making slow progress.
I grafted in a '50 Chevy truck grill to make that ugly front a bit more attractive:
I think I put it in a bit too low and it needs to move up a bit, but I'll tackle that next week.
Also opened up a huge can of worms by trying to fix the ‘humpiness’ of the rear by grafting on a set of extended '39 Chev rear guards and re-arranging the boot lid to match. It was supposed to make it look more ‘Buick-like’ but I think I have just spent a shitload of time making something that looks like a ’40 Ford.
What y’all think?

Re: "1941 Buouth/Plymick Sled"
Thanks mate - colour will be dark. Maybe a green or blue...? Still not too sure.
The pick up was an old project that was never going to get finished, so no harm done there.
