There's nothing like the smell of Ferrari in the morning! The real car is a stunner, and your model is looking good too mate. Coming along very well indeed.

Re: Ferrari f430 Spider
Wimmer RS f430 - for when an "ordinary" Ferrari just isn't enough...
Looking good.
My Eye-talien is pretty much non existant but I assume Rosso Corsa means red paint?
Looks good with a white body mind...

Re: Ferrari f430 Spider
**UPDATE**
Finally got back onto this project!
Body has been base coated in Zero Corsa Rossa 322 and is ready for a light sand and the Zero 2K Clear. After that I just need to do the window trims and the black around the engine cover grilles. Everything else is painted and ready for final assembly. I built up the wipers from the PE set and they came up really well, much better than the kit wipers which are a bit thick and out of scale.
I decided to modify the exhaust tips using aluminium tube as the kit tips are pretty average. I also scratch built a new glass for the engine cover out of .015" clear styrene sheet as the kit glass had some fine stress cracks, it is also pretty thick and chucky so the scratch built one looks much better. I had to pack up the body with some 1mm wide strips to get the new glass to sit flush.
2 pack clear on the body, pretty happy with the result, a couple of the inevitable dust spots which I rub out with 4000 paper. I then polished the body with tamiya fine and finish polish compound.
Almost there!!
