My best mate of 20 years has been working on and off for 4 years on this car. the body is all steel and the motor is 454 chev with a 6/71 blower . T.C.I. power-glide 3/500 stall converter strange engineering rear end mark williams axles and wilwood brake's. the car will black with gold leaf writing

Whilst I love the look (Would love to see more pics when painted) and it should go like smeg down the 1/4 ..there is a part of me saying ...The death of another FJ Van. Sorry just the old timer coming out in me !!

The body was found on a farm rusting and sum one had hit it with a back hoe. no doors no floor and no sills the famer was going to the tip to dump it so will save it

This will be one sweet lookin FJ when its completed. My old man used to "restore" FJ's in his younger days. He had a van but didn't have a chance to finish it. He was in a local club called Capricorn early holden club, now defunct. I remember some beautiful local cars, where are they now????? probably in holden heaven, rust in pieces. Thanks for sharing the pics brings back some cool memories. Cheers.

Wow! This will be a great addition to the Drag Racing world. Look forward to seeing this one in the future. We already have an FJ ute competing in Sydney, Lime Green with red flames(was also cruising Summernats 25) and followed it for a bit. Be nice to have them together one day.
By the way I have returned to Drag Racing yesterday at Test'n Tune - photo's will be on Badger Photography and Cackling Pipes during this week.
