Hi guys ...yep another one off the bench.
Love these big old yank tanks ..... was sorta building this at the same time as the prowler . Fairly happy with how it turned out.
Anyways hope you like it.....
Dont know why the carbs look all cock-eyed...

Nice and tidy again mate, pretty cool paint job too, the roo on the roof is nice. Might wanna move that big ol' yank tank away from that stick of dynamite in the second pics though

Re: 65 Pontiac
I love this kit (I love mid 60's ponchos).
It's just a shame about it's typically ex-promo low detail levels & chrome headlight lenses and the mould separation lines on the bumpers.
Nice build but personally i'm not sure about the roo on the roof - maybe on the bonnet or boot?
IIRC the Pontiac Tripower set up had staggered carbies like that.

Yea the roo on the roof (top paddock) was a little experiment. When I revisit this model it will go or be replaced by something else. Most of my models get 2 or 3 rebuilds / paint jobs (or they did when I was younger) so yea - always room for improvement.
It seemed like a good idea at the time
I have a 66 Fairlane GT 2door thats just begging me to build it but I also have 7 other boxes with 'Build Me Next' written on them ...But I really want to get started on my Pajero ute ...but then I also want to start on my 64 Impala im going to mod up ....but wait ...how about .................
I think we have all had this problem hehehe ! Im just waiting on some parts to get started on the others but the 2 ozzie suppliers I have tried have just pissed me around so my money went overseas.
Anyhoot thanks for the comments and suggestions. Im soooooo loving building at the moment!

Na its called running out of silver and only having dark blue left .....
Actually I could not make up my mind on what color so thought ...what the hell ...lets do them both. Im having fun with paints so expect the unexpected when I have the airbrush in my hand ....... :-)
Re: 65 Pontiac

Looks good mate, you wont be able to go anywhere soon with out a trailer for all these models your pumping out. These things have an awsome shape to them, have a mate with a 4 door version on bags, wicked.
Keep advancing and enjoy!

Re: 65 Pontiac
I get a kick out of builders who experiment with colour and fades. It's not easy to achieve a good look using this technique, but you're there mate. Well done!
