24 Hour Service 2000 DTM Mercedes

I thought I would start on a Touring Car and decided to get into a Tamiya DTM C Class Mercedes. I have had the kit and decals for a long time so rather than doing the D2 car that the kit is I will do Pedro Lamy's 24 Hour Service version. So far all I have done is get most of the body faring on and a light mist of white primer put the cage together and then sanded all the sink marks, which there are plenty. I think this will stay OOB and I will decide if I even go with some CF decal in the engine area.

Looks like a nice kit, are the flares separate from the body?

I liked building my version of these cars. I remember that I did the flares and front bumper all separate.
They lend themselves to CF really well.

Clutch all the flares are add on's, makes for some fun.

I modelled it off a road version that I found a pic of, no sponsors, lots of CF in the interior.
