Nice build Bryce. The first one of these i built had Gold decals, but every re issue since then has been that horrible brown .

I had similar problems and tried spraying the decal sheet with a thin coat of artist's pastel/pencil clear fixative (Crystal Clear), and that did the trick. It added a new clear coating to the decal sheet and held the decals together. I know Bill Hamer (Roodecals) also experimented with hair spray on old decals and had good results, but you have to try it first on a test piece of decal sheet.
The model is darn good too!

G'day Bryce, thats probably the most realistic looking engine bay I've yet seen even on this forum. Bloody good job.

Thanks for the compliment Pete - I actually created a bit of a rod for my own back with this one as when I went to put the bonnet on and finish the job it wouldn't close because of all the crap I'd put in there! Here's another couple of pics for those with interest:
