"Miss Thriftway"
Time for another boat!
This one is the 1955 Unlimited Hydroplane, "Miss Thriftway" Of Washington State.
powered by a V12 Allison engine from a P51 Mustang.
It is a 1/24 scale pre cut ply wood kit. not sure what company name.
Greasemonkey got it for me. He also supplied the engine for me! Thanks dude!
Sorry it doesn't have wheels!!
The second kit will be "Miss Bardahl"
Little bit bigger than the holden powered version.

Nice work! Even if it doesn't have wheels.

Man, i love that thing, it came up awsome, if you put it on a trailer it technically has wheels then.

Re: "Miss Thriftway"
I caught a bit of the movie "Madison" on Cup Day.
It's about unlimited class hydroplanes and was made in 2001 but set in the late 60's. So apart from the period correct cars ('67 Impala wagon was the standout for me) it's full of cool boats with HUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEEEEE engines.
