56 chev

I saw this crocus yellow/onyx black colour scheme on the net and had to build one. Had a hard time trying to track down a 56 bel air kit and ended up paying far too much for this old Monogram one from the 70s (light blue plastic). It was every bit as hideous as you imagine. I think the wheelbase is all wrong on this car - it looks like an A/FX drag car as the rear wheels are way too far forward. Anyway - it is what it is...hope you like it:

A top fifties car and well handled as usual. It's a pity this model is overshadowed by the '55 and '57 versions because in my opinion, it has the best body lines.
