1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 HO
Hey guy's, just thought I'd put up a few pic's of a older build (with some new wheels, thanks to luke )
Its a Revell 68 Pontiac firebird 400 HO 2 in 1 kit.
Its pretty much box standard apart from lowering it and adding some new wheels (I originally built it with 3 spoke billet wheels which didn't suit it at all) I also added a coil, plug leads, heater hoses and a fuel line to the engine bay and bare metal foiled the trims. Colour is metallic red with a gold pearl.
I'll be building a pro street version with big wheel tubs etc very soon as well
Hope ya's like it
Cheers, Dan

Re: 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 HO
Cheers guys The idea was to keep it simple and super neat.
I ran into trouble when half of the engine block went M.I.A during the build. So I ended up modifying a chev engine block, with not to much work, I fitted the Pontiac heads, manifold, sump and water pump, etc and it came up great, would be pretty hard to pick I think. I'm still thinking of bare metal foiling the wheel arch trims, what do you guys think ?

Re: 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 HO
Yeah, think I'll have to BMF the wheel arch trims to finish it off and also glue the drivers door handle back on Although all my model stuff is packed away at the moment as we are moving house soon and for some stupid reason I packed all my model stuff first

Very nice - clean and stylish. I got one of these in mind to do one day when I get some nice wheels...
