VK Commodore update

Here is my VK Commodore conversion kit. still a few things to do before its ready to go!
the body, dash, grille, mirrors and lights are complete. still have to finish the underside of the bonnet.
I would like to make the whole kit, but thats a bit further down the track!

the MOMO wheels were made by using the rear side of a rim and hand cutting the spokes from evergreen card.
the tread was also removed to make slicks.

this is the first VK out of the mould. it turned out like crap due to faulty resin. so I used it to make the Group A body kit, and then I stripped it down and turned it into the VB Repco Rally car.

That is amazing work - and the rally version is brilliant. I can see these will be popular with the Holden boys.

I am awe struck when I see your work Shoey. You are an absolute pioneer and I find it very inspirational the way you pick a subject and just make it out of whatever materials you have available. Fantastic work mate and I hope to get the chance to appreciate it in person one day.
