Dodge Big Horn Tow Truck.
This is the Revell Peterbuilt Can Do wreaker with a resin Big Horn cab. I need to extend the back of the cab from the doors back so it joins the sleeper which i haven't found a suitable solution to yet. The rams head on the bonnet is a sterling silver charm for a charm bracelet. Any ideas on extending the cab will be appreciated

Re: Dodge Big Horn Tow Truck.
OK its working now. Photobucket does some strange things.
That is a great looking rig. No idea how to fix that cab - I think it looks ok as it is. Once its all painted up its going to look great.
Good work.

I'm with Allan , I think it looks great like it is , like the owner's put a non orriginal sleeper on the back of it out of neccesity .
(if you use the IMG tags when quoting a picture it will come up like above , just put [ img ] without spaces before the image text and [ /img ] without spaces after it )

Re: Dodge Big Horn Tow Truck.
Got a side shot so we can see how big the gap really is?
Otherwise I agree with Allan & Ian.
However, if it's too big a gap or you can't live with it then I can see a few options.
1 - shorten the chassis in the middle.
2 - Move the cab, bonnet & front axle back and then if necessary shorten the front of the chassis.
3 - Leave the chassis as it is, move the cab back and extend the back edge of the bonnet,
4 - Lengthen the sleeper (possibly the least work as its flat on the top and sides and so would be easy to sand after cutting in half and splicing in however much flat styrene you needed to add - cut half way between the door and the front).

Re: Dodge Big Horn Tow Truck.
Another option could be to put a square or rectangle of 5mm styrene sheet hbehind the cab so it looks like there is a step in the sleeper facing forwards ?

Re: Dodge Big Horn Tow Truck.
Ok guy's, got of my lilly white & went & done some investigating. 1st pic is the peterbuilt cab with the provision for the exhaust stacks, https://2img.net/h/i691.photobucket.com/albums/vv278/yahshu/works%20in%20progress/IMGP1373.jpg
sorry sports850 i don't understand how to post pic as you have done. 2nd pic is of 2 Dodge cabs, 1 on the left from a bloke here in Oz, the other from the US, & yes the US one is smaller. https://2img.net/h/i691.photobucket.com/albums/vv278/yahshu/works%20in%20progress/IMGP1374.jpg
As you can see there's no provision for the exhaust & if i was to put them on as is they would be in the door opening. Also i had the Oz cab sitting wrong, It does butt up hard against the sleeper so i'll cut the walkway out of the Pete cab & mold it into the Dodge cab. Thanks for your input guys, it's really appreciated.

Re: Dodge Big Horn Tow Truck.
OK, i've edited your post but it's really simple.
You are using photobucket. When you copy the location of your photo from the photobucket page instead of copying the "Direct link" information copy the information in the "IMG code" line 2 rows down from it and just paste that into your post.
