I've been at the woman to build a car.. When I ask her what car she wants to build the answer I get is . " A Pink one! "
I finally got her to do the pontiac kit.. but as a monaro...
This is good cos I already started converting the dash a while back. I dunno why i put it back in the box.. its a pretty good job for my first conversion.....
In an hour the woman and I got the engine nearly all together....put the seats together... then she painted the interior and primed the car....
(No need for washing or doing a big clean up on the body parts.... its her first build) after a very quick rub back with some fine sandpaper, pink paint was airbrushed... she was halfway through the body when I noticed some things that shouldnt be on the body..Pontiac badges!
I told her to stop, that was enough paint for the body.........I'll debadge it when she goes to bed...she will never know.
White interior with pink bits.... Embarassed ....... and a pink body.

Notice no more badges..

Still need to clean up the dash, but I think its a good job so far.
