This is a trial scan of a pencil sketch to see how it looks. Most of my ruffs are in pencil. It will probably be my next effort as I have all the parts now. Power is the double Chevs from the AMT double dragster kit with some body bits from Revell's '32 Ford Sedan. Looking to put a B-17 type windscreen on it & a bulged bonnet (nacelle?) around the engines with the exhaust stacks poking through & cowl gills etc. Paint will be ally with US Air Corps markings & invasion stripes. Bit of a mixture but should be fun. Big question is do I put a 50 cal out the back window or would that be a little too much?

That should look absolutely awesome mate!! Smile

Personally I think the Barret 50. Cal will be a bit of overkill on what will be a very nice model. my2cents

This seems like a great idea. Cars and aircraft have much in common and this could work, although I'd dump the guns - leave that to the military modellers. Your drawing is difficult to see on screen so I've darkened up the pencil tones for you - now even my poor old eyes can see what you mean to do Nota. Nice sketch and thanks for sharing.

Works for me.
Instead of a single 50 cal out of the window how about styling the rear end like the tail gunners position in a Fortress?
And how about a perspex nose to match?
