Mazda MX-5 technicolour dreamcoat
Finished this car from Top Gear's Middle East Special. They got 2 door convertibles to drive from Iraq to Bethlehem (the idea of 'three wise men' travelling to see baby jesus).
it's box stock apart from the bullbar and rear 'spoiler' hehe. i didn't add the extra rear wheels and arch flares, as he takes them both off. I had a lot of problems with the masking tape coming off. (i painted white, masked it. painted it blue, masked it...)

I like your idea for the replica colour scheme. Shame about the stripes edges. What are you using for masking tape (what type of tape - thick, thin, painters masking tape, clear tape, sticky, etc)? It looks like the paint has creeped under the tape.
Tamiya make a low tack masking tape specially for modellers and it is really good.
