68 Dodge Charger
wanted to build the black charger from the movie 'Bullitt' started with the Revells Dick Landys' 68 dodge but this one doesnt have a vinyl roof, and the body also has the indicators from a 69 model with instructions to fill them and apply the decals for the 68 indicators, i also had a Revell promodellor 69 dodge charger wich has a vinyl roof, so i swapped the bodies they looked the same execpt for the vinyl roof, it wasnt until i fitted the windscreen that i found a problem, the windscreen only just filled the opening, when i tried to fit the quarter glass they were too short, for some reason the roof on the 68 is taller than the 69 ! easy fixed by swapping glass as well as bodies. now somewhat irrelevant as Revell are releasing a 68 charger !

Re: 68 Dodge Charger
Now that is a cool looking car. Black has to be the colour of choice for this. Nice work.

Re: 68 Dodge Charger
Might be irrelevant but still very cool looking car! I can just see that bad ass hemi laying a big black line.
FYI - I have heard that the roof on the Pro-Modeller version of this car was the wrong height (too short - almost chopped), so that may go some way to explaining why the glass didn't fit...
Apparently they have fixed it in subsequent releases.

A nice build anyway and a good solution to the windscreen problem. Looks just great!
