69 camaro wagon
Wait what ? found a pic that inspired me online the other day so started the hacking and wacking business again. Revell 69 yenko and AMT 65 chevelle. Had to cut a wedge outta the wagon roof but it fits pretty good. Will be using all the camaro running gear, just need to do some interior modding
and just for a giggle on the pro st cuda chassis

Just for a giggle? You know that's what it'll end up with.
I like where this is going. It should be another winner.

nah not this time. The missus was away for the weekend (yay) with the camera (boo) so I quickly snapped a couple of pics last night. Most sub assembly's are done, actually most of its together need to re-mask and respray the white on the roof and figure out some hinges (not working, too lazy for that )for the tailgate.
Re: 69 camaro wagon
thought this was going to be a pro stock, look's cool as a street wagon needs roof rack and long board surf board

Re: 69 camaro wagon
Looking pretty cool mate, imagine how they would have sold if they were factory produced! DSF style would have looked best but what you've done really looks like it was meant to be!! Great imagination , i'd love one.

Re: 69 camaro wagon
Thanks guys,Ever have one of those models whose fate it seems is to meet the wall at high velocity ? For me it seems to be Revells 69 camaros. the baldwin motion fought me and so is this one. Every thing fits well in mock ups everything looks good, but come final assembly and it wont go together. All of a sudden it cant slide forwards enough for the rear wheel inner wells to fit inside the rear wheel arches. It beat me ,today, tomorrow I'll have another go at it. Heres how it looks now

Re: 69 camaro wagon
I think we may have been trawling the same parts of the internet, cos I think I've got the pic that inspired you to do this. I was thinking about something similar at one point, but I was going to try and build it the same way as the pic I've got. More of a pro-touring them.
This is looking awesome so far, looks like a concept that Chev should've built. Maybe not the real thing as it might have ruined the reputation of the camaro name though.
