Re: `69 Mustang custom.
Cool - I like it. Sort of like what the Mustang would have been if it was an Aussie car made by Chrysler in the early 70s!

No it is an old one that is being rebuilt. It is a Revell 69 Cobra Jet, same kit as your maroon one you built. The purple custom is a 70 Boss 429. I have about 30 Mustangs, built, still in box and rebuilds of ones i built back last century when i was a glue bomber . Does this make me a collector or a hoarder?

Re: `69 Mustang custom.
I like the look of this, very interesting idea, but when you see it in the engine bay it looks right at home.

Re: `69 Mustang custom.
That's quite an engine swap! I recall Chrysler's E49 Charger being able to whip Falcon GT V8's and Monaro V8's in the acceleration stakes with its 4.3 litre inline six Hemi, so what might Ford's 4.0 litre inline six have been capable of?
An inspired and unique model - well done so far.

Re: `69 Mustang custom.
Body is now ready for colour, just don`t know what yet .
Both sets are `97 Mustang. The first set are Cobra, and the other are GT. I am using the Cobra wheels on this.

Re: `69 Mustang custom.
Motor is finished. Scratch built headers out of solder, collector is heat shrink tube.
Created a aluminium rocker cover
Painted and installed
Still to make rest of exhaust system, finish interior and decide on final colour.
