Guys, that time of year is looming again - yep the usual sheanigans at the Buninyong Golf Club.
The important bits:

Winners will be decided by the popular vote of those modelers present and trophies will be awarded in the following categories:

· 2012 Special Theme – “Black & White”
· Car pre 1950
· Car 1950-1964
· Car 1965 and later
· Car competition (all types)
· Truck – Bobtail
· Truck – Rigid
· Truck – Open Goods
· Truck – Enclosed Goods
· Motorbikes (all types)
· Junior Model (up to 16 years)
· Other Model
· Military (all scales, all types)
· Aircraft (all scales, all types)
· Ladies Model
· Modified Diecast – (all types and scales)
· Diorama (includes vignettes) NB: A Diorama is a representation of a small scene, and will not be classified as a model on a plain base or mirror.

Entry fee $2 per model (per entrant) up to 5 models. Rest free!

The Swap Meet will be open to modelers as well as traders, so bring your old kits ‘n’ bits. We can supply tables or you could bring your own (not too large!) Swap meet will be as follows:

Site & small table $15
Site & large table $20

We suggest you book and pre-pay before May 18th to secure your place

Yay - love this show. Something I look forward to each year, but I hope the weather will be kind to us this time. No matter - it's inside a hall and always comfy and warm. Looking forward to catching up again guys.

Yup, I've enjoyed each one, I've attended even tho I'm a relative newcomer.

The journeys to and from have always been pleasurable, as is always the case when you have good company, and lunch at the pub down the road is also a good time.

So I guess I better get me a some new wheels with lotsa seats and luggage space eh?

Who's in for the road-trip?

Probably try and build a few new models might be a good idea too.

I'll be there, as long as I don't havw repeat of last year, when my car broke down on the way up and was stolen while I was making arrangements to get it home. (never recovered)
