Go-Nad the Nomad
All finished.
Why call it Go-Nad the Nomad?? Cause your gonna need a big set of them to drive this sucker. Blown 409 Chev through a 4 speed.
BAsed on teh AMT Nomad kit. Scracthbuilt roll cage, parachute brackets, blower pulley's, rocker cover caps and magneto spun up on my lathe, plumbed engine, body has been masked and painted (no decals to get effect), painted the glass with Tamiya clear green.
I know that gasser's usually have the extractors coming out near the front wheel but I figured that the pipes that came with the engine fit so why not just use them.

Re: Go-Nad the Nomad
Nice work Dave, Looks pretty quick,
But I've heard there will be a tough 56 Chev
from NSW up against it in Mackay.
Should be interesting!

Re: Go-Nad the Nomad
Nice build, I'm not a fan of Gasser's, but this one's cool. I prefer the exhausts the way you have them.

Re: Go-Nad the Nomad
looks like a very convincing period racer. pity the molded in exhaust muffler would be too hard to remove. the green windows is a hell of an authentic touch
