Re: 1937 Ford Panel Delivery
Very nice Dale. The color works well and I love the open sides on the engine bay. Sometimes a little is just enough. Great work.

That's one cool panel truck, cool colour on it,look's like there is something missing from the centre of the wire wheels.

Re: 1937 Ford Panel Delivery
That beautiful, almost bought a kit of these days, is a car pretty much really. Like carpet, but I think it was kind of weird in the Bank, I know there quite a bit out of range I think.
Hugs.

Re: 1937 Ford Panel Delivery
Dale...mate!... looks fantastic. I'm in the process of starting the
Revell '37 Panel Delivery
but what i would like to know, buddy,
pal, mate, ol' chum, how the "flock" did you do that interior?....I'm building mine
as a "******" van but with my own custom interpretations.
I'd love to be able to incorporate that interior into this build. If all works well,
I hope to post this build on the forum when finished.
Cheers

Re: 1937 Ford Panel Delivery
WELL! I didn't expect to see this old one again, you must be spending days going back through all the older builds.
As you have already said, "FLOCKing" mate, i usually lay down an enamel base, as it dries slowly, in a very similar color
to the flocking i am about to use "Kens Kustom Fuzzi-Fur", sprinkle it over the paint through one of those tea strainers from the supermarket, this takes out any lumps in the fur, do 2-3 coats of the fur to get a good coverage, then leave it over night before shaking off the excess.
Good luck, be sure to do it over a plate of bowl, to recycle all the bits that don't stay on the model bits.

Re: 1937 Ford Panel Delivery
Thanks Dale... I actually bought this kit from a hobby shop in Perth 'bout 4 months ago. Because I built the '37 pick up (the blue one I posted when I first joined this forum), I knew I would have to build the van. So now it begins, but as I mentioned, I want to do something just a bit different with this one?. So how it will turn out is anyones guess. But I do want to have a crack at that flocking work.
Cheers f' now
