Picked up this Speedway Solo bike off of the old evilbay Laughing awhile ago. Finally got a chance to build it last weekend. Not sure what brand or scale it is....nothing written on the box Exclamation , but think it's about 1/24. The blue metalflake is fingernail polish, the frame is painted titanium, engine is flat aluminium, rims, handle bars & frame are chrome silver, with gold leaf hilights. Added clucth and throttle cables using fishing line painted semi gloss black.

Nice. Brings back many memories of my younger days watching legends like Rod Chessel and Chum Taylor at Claremont speedway. Nothing like the sound of an old Jawa .....

Nice find! Reminds me of the good old days spent watching these bikes race at Traceys Speedway in Maribyrnong (Melbourne). Could be an old JAP or JAWA bike? Most of them were custom-built for racing anyway.

Built a couple of speedway bikes very similar to this a long time ago . They were Jawa bikes from the Protar kits. Protar did other bike kits ( I also built their Norton Commando ) and car kits as well.

Hmmmmm................Interesting!!!
Don't know what kit this was, it didn't have any brand on the box. The box was about the size of a deck of cards.

I used to go the the speedway occasionally with my dad back in the UK.
Eastbourne Eagles track it was.
Best nights were when they ran the vintage classes.
