Time for a rebuild Empty Time for a rebuild

Post by homers customs Sat 11 Aug 2012, 5:46 pm

Gday all I redone this one the other day, Repainted the body purple and white, redone BMF and colour coded the bumpers and grill, Left the rest as it was before.
Hope you like.
Here's how it used to look.

Nice colours homer, front bumper would look better in purple IMO, but overall a sweet rebuild.

Nice rework on this, looks great. I also reckon purple front bumper would look alright, but colours are the choice of the builder.

I've seen a 56 (1:1) for sale recently (somewhere online) that had the same/similar colour scheme, even the white bumpers. Looked alright in 1:1, looks good in scale too.

Although I'm a bit impartial to a 56 chev anyway. I'm in the process of changing one of these into a 4 door sedan to build a replica of what my 1:1 will hopefully look like.

Definitiely looks "grouse" in the new colours. Pride of the fleet now I should think?
