WIDE F-100
Hey all, FINALLY!! reno is done and i can get back into the model room, it's been almost 7 weeks since i touched plastic.
Pulled an old model off the shelf and will start back into it with a bit of custom work on a rebuild.
Roof has been rechopped and fixed up a bit, bonnet and front guards moulded as one, and a modified porsche front airdam smoothed out to fit a bit better.
Doors have been widened with a portion of a bonnet grafted on to them so they flow with the front guards. Rear guards have had about 10mm added into
their width, body will be channeled over chassis, motor will be BIG!, and not sure on wheels or colour yet.
It's nice to be back into it.

Re: WIDE F-100
OK, still struggling to find momentum, but got a bit of paint done today, and selected the wheels. They are from the WAGON-ROD.
Paint is spray chief candy green over white and grey base. You have to be careful what jar you store your paint in, i used a jar which had been washed numerous times, but my paint smells like the garlic the jar used to hold, it is so strong i can not even smell the thinners. Now the days are drawing out, should get the clear done through the week after work i hope, and get a bit more of the chassis mods done through the week i hope.

Thanks guys, yes Zac, there is a bit of accidental metal flake in it, still not sure how it got there though any way , it should pop in the daylight after clear.

Yes Mark, the same body, rechopped and rehashed in many ways, purple one just didn't cut it mate, needed upgrading.Ybsluos wrote:Love it Dale. I remember the purple one. Perhaps the same body?-Mark
