Aussie Resin Models
Hey fellas,
can anyone give me some information about Aussie Resin Models? I´d like to order some of their truck conversion stuff and I´m curious about the quality of their resin parts. Any information would be much appreciated.
Best regards
Kevin

Re: Aussie Resin Models
I have purchased items from Scale Automobilia for a while. They are reliable and have some good quality parts available for trucks and cars. Most of the resin stuff is easy to work with and of acceptable detail. http://www.scaleautomobilia.com.au
You might also look at this link http://www.aussiemodeller.com.au/pages/links.html
They list many parts suppliers but I don't know much else about them.
I have also used "The Parts Box" resin products that are of good quality, but they are hard to locate on the Web. This online seller has their stuff for sale http://www.bnamodelworld.com/the-parts-box
Hope that helps.

Re: Aussie Resin Models
Hey
Thanks for the links Tezza, they might be useful someday for me. Especially the parts box is interesting as they have some nice resin engines.
In fact I´m looking for the truck that is pictured in Zenrat´s link. It´s a Ford WT9000 resin cab which uses an AMT Chevy Titan as parts donor. Any info would be cool.
Cheers

Re: Aussie Resin Models
have a look at website Zenrat pointed out and go to the gallery section, all the models there are resin conversions.
have ordered parts from them and had no trouble.
the quality is not bad as long as its the newer poly resin.
I think the owner is a member on this forum too.

Re: Aussie Resin Models
Thanks for all informations dudes. I have actually searched for a Ford WT9000 cab to build a model in commission for a collector. He has emailed me in the meantime that he has already ordered a cab from another resin caster. From looking at the pictures I would have preferred the Aussie Resin version, but now it´s too late...
I have saved the page in my favourite list as there is some very interesting stuff and I think I will get me a nice truck for my own collection.
Thanks again and best regards,
Kevin
