UNFREAKINBELIEVABLE!!!!!!! I even watched the documentory on Minituar Wunerland which was even more mind blowing. Now I will have to save for a holiday in Hamburg to see this. It even has the largest model railway in the world as a part of it. WOW. Got to go now and watch more documentories of it on U Tube. Thanks for the link.

Re: Amazing Airport Diorama
Hi guys.
yes the whole setup is truly unbelivable. While on holiday in Europe back in May/june I had the chance to go and check it out. The airport was sonmething else with the planes taking off and landing. The train layouts were incredible. They took up 2 floors of an old wharehouse complex. One of the Alps railway. went from the lower floor to the next one ,with a huge mountain.
It is amust to go and see if you ever get over there.
Will lookat posting some pics of some of it when i down load them to photobucket..
In Holland they have a scale model of the towns and cities. Which is called Madurodam. They had trains, cars trucks and ships moving about. Also planes taxing on the runway, but not actaully taking off. This display however is all outside and is 1/25th/24th scale. Even the trees were in miniature living bonsai's. They were amazing.
cheers
Kerry
ps the trip on the German Autobahan going to Hamburg was really good, comming back however was bit of a wild ride, we were doing 184 kays in the wet, a bit mind blowing when you are only used to 110 here in the dry and passing slippery when wet signs on the way. This is anormal thing for them over there. There would be a flash of lights from behind, which meant you moved from that lane to allow someone to pass who was going quicker.

Re: Amazing Airport Diorama
Now I'm going to have to add Holland to my list of holiday destinations. That outdoor display in 1/24/25th would be awesome to see. The aircraft and ships would be huge. That autobahan sound like a lot of fun. Be good with the right car, but be no good here, it would kill most of our Commodores and Falcons.

Re: Amazing Airport Diorama
Hi Mick,
yep was an awesome thing to look at. The car we travelled in to go to Hamburg and return was a VW not sure whatit was called as it did not have badges apart from the vw on the grille. Was not very old, had a 1.4 ltre engine, went like stink, is good for 250 klm. Not sure if it was turboed. Meant to have look at the engine but did not get around to it.Will post a pic, when I can.
cheers
