Rat Rod without too much rust

I'm glad I didn't build a top fueler...at this scale it would have been sticking out the door!

dv8v8, no it doesn't run.....engine is plastic. I don't want to spend that much time on one project to have a functioning engine etc.
I'm more than half way through a dual engine competition coupe model now. I will post that soon. It is the same scale.

mate this is awesome, is it completely scratch built, would love to get hold of a kit that size if its not

Magnificent build man - love the exhaust pipes and engine detail. 1:4 scale eh - wow!

harley fan, it is all scratch built except the basic engine, which is a modified and detailed Visible V8. I was only going to detail the engine and stick it on a stand.....but you know how things grow. Here are some more construction pics.

The only thing missing was the shot with the girl......



...and the custom number plate.



I also sculpted the girl, I've made about a dozen of them. This one was sculpted with Zbrush, then printed, then cast and painted.
The rest of the figures were done using traditional methods.

Wow great build on the rod. Really got the model figure looking good. Must have been fun with all those curves.LOL.
Very impressive. Colour on her skin tone is excellent. Sometimes people tend to have the clothes and skin too glossy.
