Fujimi S5 Sedan conversion to Touring
Hi guys...!
I am here to present a new WIP, the thing is that many time ago when i started with the model kits, this BMW was the first one i used to try to paint with automotive paint (with airbrush).
I had a lot of troubles, and the paint was horrible, so i removed the paint i and leave the car on the shelf with a layer of primer on just waiting for the right time to "re build" it
Few days ago, i had this idea to convert the car from a sedan, into a touring version...the body isnt in perfect condition so i am not afraid of cutting the body to make it a touring car
Some pics!
This is the car condition right now
Here we have both version of the BMW S5, sedan and touring
This picture will help me to make the rear gate
This is a test i did using Photoshop to have like a preview of the finished car.
And this is another quick Photoshop, in which we can see that the distance between front and rear wheels is the same in both versions....so the idea is possible!
I did some marking, on the roof of the BMW to know where i have to make the cuts
Well, thats all for today, sooner i will have more updates on the BMW

Re: Fujimi S5 Sedan conversion to Touring
Thanks!
Small update, the car doesnt even have one hour of work, so is very ugly right now (dont panic  )
First thing i did was a clear line to cut the roof
Then i started to cut
"Roof-less"
Finally, i add some kind of "beams" to support the back part the roof until that part is glue to the body, once the position is right i will remove those green beams dont worry
Like i said before, dont worry the car doesnt have even 1 hour of work, it will be better
Cheers!
