Bought this on ebay

Now that's a old one,are you going to build it box stock

Yeh,it will be built the way it is supposed to be.
The person I bought it off had started to assemble the engine and painted it red and the chassis black.
From what I can tell the chassis should be green and the 370 Cummins a bluey/green colour but that is all that has been done.
Once I make sure of these things I will correct it.

when Scummy pokes his head in here for a look he'll set you straight on colours.

The cummins motor should be painted beige , humbrol number 7 in the little tin . Kenworth chassis are usually red or black unless ordered a different colour . If you google the movin on truck there's plenty of reference material for you to study . If you want the exact truck it had a double sleeper .
Mainly just enjoy building the model that can never be reissued mate it's a great kit and looks a million dollars when finished .

local hobby shop found one in the back, box sure showing its age so they put a new price tag on of a $160.00

Which truck ya building, pilot or TV series cause I got some bad news for ya. This kit is not correct for either. Pilot - 1 x exhaust & air cleaner, small sleeper. TV series - 2 x exhaust & air cleaners, large sleeper & frame extended 2 inches. Frame should be green. Best paint match -Testors Mystic Emerald. This is on my to do list. This show & BJ & the Bear were my 2 favorite truckin shows as a kid.

I'll build this one with the sleeper that come with it,I noticed it was different but I wont worry about it.

I paid $43.99 for the model and I think it will be a fun build.
I have built the chassis now so that mean's I only have 6 build's going at once.

A model that can never be reissued? that's a strong statement.

Anything is possible, it's just a matter of money.

It would be great to see the W model re-issued, maybe they're leaving the best till last?

Yer if they wanted to spend mega money they COULD restore the mold but i doubt it mate . Thats ok i got more than my share built and unbuilt.

Kev , it's like when i'm at work drivin my western star truck around town and you stop in traffic and there's a car comin out of the side street , so you stop short and wave them out . Because your only going to block the side street when you stop , THATS WHEN THE MULLETT IN PEOPLE COMES OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!! They sit there lookin at you with the look on their faces of , " what do you want me to do ? " So you wave them out again , just in case they did'nt see you wave at them , and there's that %&*$#@* look on there faces again . So then i think @#$$(*& ya , and thats how it is sometimes , i remember a person askin for some parts a little while ago , so some people here sent those parts and in return he just sat there with that mullett look and not one word of thanks . So tell me big kev WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME ?????? Do you want me to give you the mullett look ?????
