49 Ford

Hi all This is my take on the AMT 49 Ford Coupe. I built this as a sister vehicle for my award winning 49 Ford Merc. Built box stock but lowered a little. Tamiya clear red over Gunze silver. Wheels and grill (cut down to fit) from 49 merc, frenched headlights. Fun to build, it is a nice kit. Just noticed it is a little dusty, should've wiped it down before taking the photo.

Very cool mate , what are the pipes off ?

Thanks guys for your kind words of encouragement. Scummy the pipes are from the Revell 49 Merc kit. They run under the car and line up to the exhaust pipes. This pair was a little warped from sitting in my parts box.
I've included some pictures of it's big sister my 49 Merc. You will notice some similarities between the two models. I listed this a couple of years ago on this forum. Thanks.
