This is The Long Rod. It was a Monogram Early Iron '29 RPU (The Blue Beetle in an earlier release) which had a horribly warped chassis that necessitated building a new one.

I was never really happy with the stance so i've pulled it apart, carried out some chassis mods and changed the wheels.

I'm currently working on some new mudguards and exhausts.

Yep different alright! The stance looks great now with the mods and bigthumbsup for the wheels too. I kinda like it fender-less though.

So did I Tim. But then I offered up a set of cut up Revell '32 'guards and I reckon they will look great with long stretched out running boards and bobbed rears.

I'm keen to see it with stretched running boards and fenders, sounds cool.
