Pro Touring CHALLENGER
G'day guys, gone with the pro touring theme on this one. Started by moving the rear wheel arches inward and upward to make room for the bigger diameter wheels and also did the same with the front inner guards, also a bit of tunnel work to make room for the drive shaft, and gave the leaf spring set-up the flick and made a trailing arm setup and narrowed the diff aswell.
Next step was to turn the engine into a HEMI, by enlarging the heads and making some HEMI covers for it too. Then made an injection set-up to go with the theme. Shaved the side indicators front and rear to smooth it out. Paint is bright orange with a dash of gold pearl and painted out the bonnet centre, and added a pinstripe to go with the interior colour, then blacked out the grill surrounds and bumpers to toughen it up a bit. Wheels are Aoshima Racinghearts from Cliffo.
Can't really see the pearl as there is no sunlight at the moment, will put up a couple of pics when we see the sunlight.

Thanks guys, pretty happy with the finished result, and for the second time in 30 years, everything ACTUALLY fitted how it should after painting.

Re: Pro Touring CHALLENGER
That looks wicked mate. Who did it. Cant be yours because there is no fancy shmancy paint work. Just orange and some black outs ???
Naa mate ...very nicely done. 2 thumbs up from me !!

Glad to see your builds are just as good as they were before my absence. The whole combination of this just works for me, very smooth.

Re: Pro Touring CHALLENGER
And while I look at it again for inspiration, I just have to comment that that is one tuff ass retro-tech piece of kit. If my Nova comes out 1/4 as good as this, I'll be happy. A credit to you buddy!
