Toyota HiAce Van. Empty Toyota HiAce Van.

Post by checkmate Wed 24 Apr 2013, 10:18 pm

Here's the latest thing I've thrown together, was an Aoshima HiAce kit built basically standard out of box.

Wasn't the nicest thing to put together with several fit issues, I expected more from a Japanese kit having built Tamiya kits before I thought this would fall together too but was mistaken.

Paint looks black but is actually dark purple, black base coats with clear blue and pearl over the top, the windows are tinted REAL DARK with Tamiya smoke. It looks nice but shows up the dust and fingerprints real easily.

Fred made me some cool number plates to stick on it too! Thanks mate. Wink

You can leave the side skirts off it Kacey, it doesn't come with standard front and rear bars.

It started as this kit, other version may have stock bodies..........

I see all those van and VIP kits every time I go shopping in Japan, but never knew anybody actually bought and built them. Shocked

Great job, but please don't do any more, it might just tempt me to go to the dark side. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Yeah I've seen a few other versions, thinking of getting a few of the others eventually when dollars allow......
