Show me how clever you are.
Identify this car.
I have absolutely no idea BTW. I've been walking past it for 6 or 7 years wondering and only today thought to snap it.
It's been there so long the trees have grown up and there is no way to get it out even if you wanted to.
Looks like it died by fire so probably stolen or an insurance job.

Re: Show me how clever you are.
Judging by the trailing arms on the diff and the Alloy headed X-flow 6, it's an XE or XF falcon.

Re: Show me how clever you are.
VERY surprised ShaunS didn't pick that one considering how intimate he is with that model.

Re: Show me how clever you are.
Shawns probably sitting with his head in his hands because he's seen that he got the shape of the inner flanges of the shock towers wrong and he's going to have to rework the entire front end of his build...
Good work guys.

Re: Show me how clever you are.
XE Falcon Ghia or ESP, looks factory fresh.
Love the leaf spring rear end......yep Ford were up to date with there technology and yet the most amazing part of these pics........
In the first pic it still has a door handle! That alone would make it collectable because every other Falcon XD,XE and XF door handles all snapped off.

Re: Show me how clever you are.
I had a XD wagon for my first car, you almost had to buy a door handle every time you put fuel in itcheckmate wrote:XE Falcon Ghia or ESP, looks factory fresh.

Re: Show me how clever you are.
So should I go and rescue that door handle and put it on Evil-Bay?

Re: Show me how clever you are.
Haw Haw. No resin Falcons for any of you. You seriously reckon that I haven't noticed that flange and that it's not eating away at my inner soul? The re-work has begun:Pzenrat wrote:Shawns probably sitting with his head in his hands because he's seen that he got the shape of the inner flanges of the shock towers wrong and he's going to have to rework the entire front end of his build...

Re: Show me how clever you are.
It does give an insight into the inner structure of the car that you don't normally see.
Bit hard to judge the exact shape of some (most) of the parts though...

Re: Show me how clever you are.
Reminds me of when my mates car got knocked out of Epping and it was found all burnt out on Arthurs Rd Arthurs Creek , along side it was a Laser Ghia , a Conkerdoore , something else and his PooGoo sorry Peugeot , (a busy weekend for car stealing scum ,Police told us they had 12 cars that weekend in their area ), I,ve looked really hard to see any signs of power windows , not to say they didn't get stripped before being torched ...
