I take it this show is primarily for models other than cars? Whats the turnout for the 'Civil vehicles' usually?

Also, remember to take heaps of pics

No idea about numbers Slowly.  Not been to this one before but it's good to support them anyway.

What's the weather like?

just got back.  The civil vehicles table was full (I took 4) with maybe 20 or 25 cars.  about a third of them were 1/18 modified die casts which took all the choccies (it was the bloke who has the massive die cast scrapyard/workshop/carwash diorama who was at expo).
Lots of planes, tanks and sci fi stuff for all you car purists to turn your noses up at but the best thing was the number of young entrants.  Good to see kids building models.
Lots of kits being sold.  The set up was builds displayed on tables round the perimeter of the scout hall and swap meet stuff on tables in the middle.
There was something for everyone and I snapped up an Italeri 1/24 Bugatti for $15 (paint on the body & engine halves glued but that's it) from which I shall build something inappropriate.
I had a good time and will be going again next year.
