1977 SAR Kenworth
One of my mates here in the West has a 77 SAR Kenworth single axle drive p/m. He has traced its history back to when it was a Comet overnighter in WA
So this is the current model i'm working on
I have got it almost together but still have a bit to do
The base is the revell Australian Kenworth with auslow bonnet, roo bar, drive axle and sleeper the pan is scratch built.
Before anybody comments of the exhaust it is only sitting there so i could take the photo as my mate wanted to see what it was looking like
will post more as i get closer to finishing

Re: 1977 SAR Kenworth
The signwriting is vinyl i have not found anybody near me in the west that does the decals. There was a guy in rockingham but he has shut up shop. My efforts at doing them myself have got to the stage of rego numbers but not for the bigger ones yet. But im working on it

Re: 1977 SAR Kenworth
You can try Trevor at Sign Choice in Midvale he does vinyl
or I can put you on to Paul Wright in QLD he does the water slide type.

Re: 1977 SAR Kenworth
Thanks Scania 500 I have a couple of sign writers near me that can do most of the signs i need in vinyl but i am having trouble with white on clear, We have to try and match the clour the sign is going on and replicate that onto white vinyl. Can trevor do white printing. Can you send me a message with contact for paul as there are times when it would be easier to the signs in water slide type. Thanks again

Re: 1977 SAR Kenworth
One way to possibly do white decals is to design them on your computer, then try as best you can to match the red surrounds, and change the script to white.
Then print it on white decal paper.
Nice work on the truck.
