Re: triumph bobber
Nice start.
I'd go with a blower rather than a turbo and build it with a reversed head. That way you can sit the blower low down at the front mounted in extended front engine mounting plates.
Goggling "reversed head custom bike" I came across this.

Re: triumph bobber
thanks Zen for the info
l had thought of that
l had a friend of mine who ran a reversed head and boy did he have trouble
with cooling it ran great but once you stopped at the lights or go below 50kph the thing would start to cook
they used run that sort of set-up in dragracing

Re: triumph bobber
Yeah, there's a reason why the exhaust ports are at the front in the air stream.
Looks trick though and sometimes that takes precedence over practicality.
I was actually looking for pics of a specific Royal Enfield Constellation engined lowrider with a reversed head that I remember from about the time John Reed was showing his Virago. It ticked all the right boxes including a goosenecked frame and Don Blocksidge engraving.

Re: triumph bobber
l really got stalled on this was not happy with the front tire l just did not like
then got an idea to make my own
l decided to make one from solid rubber tubing you can see the join on one of the pictures
and will putting it on the lathe to cut some threads
l have the tins in under coat and plan to paintt in a heavy metal flake
still need to alcad rims and other parts

Looking good.
We went to see Grand Budapest Hotel during the week and in it Willem Dafoe rides a mean looking 40's BMW/NSU/Zundapp (or I suppose it might be a Neval/Ural/Cossack) Bobber.
