HK Ute
Just finished this one for a customer, it's a replica of his 1:1. Started with a wonderful Jaymar fibreglass body, using the front 3/4 of a Revell 69 Camaro chassis. Interior is also front part of the Camaro with 69 El Camino seats. Dash was modified with PE gauge faces. Wheels are Convo Pros from the 57 pro mod kit. Rear tray was from the old Chevy S-10 and modded with mini tubs to fit the goodyear bluestreaks from the AMT 66 Muzzy. Firewall and rear bulkhead made from evergreen. Monaro flutes donated from a long dead body and carefully grafted into the ute front guards. Sedan rear bumper added and tail lights modified to look more like HG. Colour is custom mix yellow.
Fuel tank was plumbed using Top Studio resin hose fitting (very fragile) and tigertail for the line.
All in all, an absolute pain in the a*se to build, glad it's gone.

Re: HK Ute
The real thing is actually a HG with an HK grill, hence the modified tail lights and dash.

Re: HK Ute
Looks great Dude, love the GTS flute job. just like a real one.
would it have been easier to swap the whole front guard, or were they buggered?
I guess this is another one that wont make it to Mackay!
