Re: Hoons Latest Projects!
OK, i've fixed your links so we can see the pics.
It's a pet hate of mine people doing that - mainly because i'm to f***in' lazy to click on them and would rather just see stuff there.
Can you get to Ashburton for AMCC meetings or is Cockatoo to far out? Next one is Monday.

Re: Hoons Latest Projects!
Do that. Third Monday of the month at Ashburton Library from 8pm. But give me a shout here if you are going as they have been known to move it a different library at short notice.

Re: Hoons Latest Projects!
some interesting projects you have going there.
i'm particularly interested in the Chevy Van, as you've opened the side door, and i'm having trouble figuring out how to mount it.(sliding door)

Re: Hoons Latest Projects!
This has a working sliding door.
The kit comes with it.
Bottom mount is a pin that slides in the channel you can see in this pic (the sorta J shaped bit between the wheels).
It also has a middle pin which slides in the slot along the side.
On the Chevy you'd need to make a top channel mirroring the bottom one as these vans didn't have the middle slide. The trick is that the door has to come outwards before it slides backwards.
Good luck.

Re: Hoons Latest Projects!
Hearns Hobbies and the Victorian Hobby Centre in the City both have evergreen if you have no luck closer to your place.
