"Reaper" '32 Ratrod
Like I need another bloody project! but anyway here it is!
This will be a quick build in between all the other bits and pieces I'm currently working on and will be Rusty and seriously E V I L ! ! !
Body is a resin reject from Bryce and chassis is a resin '32 Ford of unknown origin, firewall is stock 32 in resin. More details as It progresses.

Update
Did a little work on this again this evening!
After cutting out the resin boot lid I needed to make a new one so this one is made from aluminium sheet rolled to form the shape of the original lid, the diff, radiator and battery will be visible inside and I will try my luck at adding holes to the aluminium then put some mesh behind that and it will be held shut with Photoetched Zus fasteners!
The front suspension is from the Revell Yenko Camaro kit ('67?) and has been modified since the first photo's (Now Even more Suicidle) The springs are real and scratchbuilt shockies were added.
This should now be it's final stance!

Re: "Reaper" '32 Ratrod
im liking the metal work that you put into your builds, a louvered bootlid would be very nice on this. how low can you get, the stance i mean lol it'll definetly be draggin its belly.
lookin forward to seeing more of this

Here's an update
Engine is from the Revell Super Stallion Mustang kit and will run some cool aircleaners. The gearbox and tailshaft will run right between the seats and remain visible, underneath will cop a full bellypan and radiator will be in boot!
comments and suggestions welcome!

Re: "Reaper" '32 Ratrod
Here's today's update!
sorted the induction set up and headlights all at the same time cause the Aircleaners will be the Headlights!! Something you don't see to often. Also did a few other minor additions here and there.
Yeah it looks weird but that's the point!

That's the point! I like to be different!
Here's some wheels I have been mocking up for it, What'cha think? They won't stay chrome. I'm also toying with other ideas for bits and pieces like the sculls so nothings set in stone yet!

Re: "Reaper" '32 Ratrod
This is going to be one ripper of a rod. I like the large skull - looks more like a custom radiator and balances the front nicely.

This is really starting to go somewhere now!

Roof panel will have the shifter poking through it or should I say tearing through!!!
Stay tuned for more progress!!
